The
Impact of a Job Coach, Management Training, or
Team building on a Business.
"The Sunshine Circle of The Finley Hospital is a philanthropic organization of approximately 60 members. We had the privilege of having Pam Hillary speak at the luncheon for our annual fundraising event on October 2, 2007 at the Grand River Center in Dubuque Iowa.
In a comfortable and confident style, Pam’s message, “The Decision Maker”, provided a thought provoking reminder of how our attitude affects our daily lives and the lives of the people around us. She used personal experiences, stories and a few jokes to add just the right amount of humor to her presentation. Everyone could relate to her message and it was presented in a manner that held everyone captivated during her entire presentation. We noted there were no side-bar conversations in the room of over 400 guests during her presentation. She ended her presentation with an impressive story that everyone will remember to drive home her message.
As chairpersons for our annual event, we couldn’t have been more proud or pleased with Pam’s presentation. We received many positive comments and compliments on what a great speaker we had at the event.
We thank Pam for her wonderful message and her help to make our event successful."

"Being coached by Pam was a one of kind, excellent experience. It was through the Leadership Dubuque class which Pam taught that I learned of her business Kneading Minds. I had heard of life coaching and knew many larger companies were using this resource to strengthen the personal and professional skills of key performers.
I had just received a promotion and felt I could not only better myself but could gain valuable resources, which could be utilized, in my new position. I was correct – I set my own goals and areas of interest, and during each session, Pam held me accountable and allowed me to challenge myself, while revisiting what I initially thought I should work on. Her approach provided a new perspective and allowed me to reflect on how I manage and how to be most effective when dealing with my work relationships - not only with direct reports, but also ‘managing up.’
During our last meeting, I told Pam how I happened to be in one of the busiest times of my life. Although I didn’t feel that I had time to commit to any new initiative in my life, in hindsight, I feel that being coached during this time was the best thing that could have happened.
I whole-heartedly believe in the approach that Pam uses to coach her clients. When I thought back to the person I was when I first walked through her door, the growth was apparent. I am a more defined person with clearer goals – and Pam got me where I’m at. Her name says it all “Kneading Minds” - that is what she is great at!"

"My company (John Deere) has retained Pam’s services as a coach. She led me through eight coaching sessions in June-July of 2007. I found Pam to be very personable, an experienced and effective coach, and deeply rooted in management development training, literature, and methods. Pam has helped me increase my ability to work closely with and influence the decisions of senior managers. She did this not only by helping me address my weaknesses, but by building on my strengths. I was very lucky to have Pam as a coach and highly recommend her as an expert in management development."

“My coaching experience with Pam was
excellent. She laid the ground rules and let me do the
talking. I had some major issues to work on and I was
able to work through them with her help.
At the end of every coaching call I was
given an assignment – some of them were really hard like
allowing myself to forgive someone who had hurt me badly
and choosing my attitude every day.
Pam also taught a leadership class I
attended and it was excellent. She has such a great
style and is able to help people get to the bottom of
some serious issues. She never told me exactly what to
do but would give me suggestions and choices and let me
work through my own issues, which was very empowering.
I have changed in a positive way as a result of my
coaching relationship with Pam."

"Through her business, Kneading Minds, Pam
Hillary has worked with dozens of businesses. And her
success with these companies is evident in the response
her programs have generated.
“Great opportunity to take an internal
look at myself. Pam provides all of the information and
tools with an open, yet non-threatening format. The
sessions allowed us to work together as a group toward a
common goal. This is simple stuff, packaged well to
make it easy to employ. Pam did a great job of
questioning the group to make them think. Pam asked us
to get engaged and get in the game. This is a good
session for all management levels, sound fundamentals
and basics.”

“On of the most positive experiences in
my career! Loaded with suggestions opening up the
potential for growth. Videos were awesome. The greater
impact was the message. It has opened my eyes to
putting everything into perspective. The course would
be two thumbs up!”

“The classes are a great refresher on
what we already know to be true and important for
maintaining relationships and achieving success. Even
if we know how important these qualities are it is
important to constantly “sharpen” the blade. When you
go through this as a group, you are reminded of things
you learned in the class and are reminded to use them by
others.”

feeling great! We now have even more confidence that we
will be “world famous” because we are a team driven by

"Thank you for offering such a valuable class and making the art of empowering others your line of work. You have touched each individual in the class and made them think about who they are professionally and personally. By doing that, we will hopefully be able to pass the knowledge onto other individuals, if not through our conversations, then through our actions."

“The sessions have helped me work on
leadership skills and make them more of a habit.
Excellent opportunity to build relationships with other
leaders. Opportunities to speak in front of a group
were very valuable to help us think on our feet and
create communication skills in leadership. Provided a
chance to think deeply about leadership styles and work
on personal development. Helped create a solid
foundation for leadership skills to continue to grow.”
